Why airbrush?

I just cannot understand why photographers see the need to airbrush girls pics?
In my opinion, an airbrushed girl looks worse than one with fake titties. At least
with fake breasts they look real enough on the outside!
In some cases of airbrush work, they end up looking like plastic "blow up" dolls..... eeeewwww!
and in some other cases a genuinely beautiful girl land up looking like something out of Star Trek or some
******* movie, becoz of airbrushing!
I have never seen natural skin tone (however "flawed"), that is worse than any airbrush work I have
seen.

Just my two bits and sorry in advance if I have offended anyone!

Well in reality every "model" that is photographed isn't actually the real woman. They just hired a hobo and had to airbrush it to make it look like the chick.


But in all seriousness I agree. Airbrushing is usually pretty obvious and makes the girl look really fake.

Well they might as well use a hobo (cheaper and less exploitative,maybe?) for all the
good it does the world (and art) of exposing true feminine beauty!
