A lot of rap and hip hop doesn't appeal to me but I do like Mos Def, Common, The Roots, J Dilla, Kanye West and a couple others. Erykah Badu and Talib Kweli are also pretty cool artists!

I'm not a fan of gangster rap, or rap in general. However, I do like certain groups, like Run DMC. All the early rap stuff was good, somewhere around the mid 90's it seriously went downhill for me.
