I'm a southpaw. However, I'm not a natural lefty. When I was a baby and up until I was five, my father always handed everything to me to my left hand. He wanted me to grow up and be a left handed pitcher, as they are a definite commodity on a baseball team. As I got older, I did everything left-handed in baseball.
Funny thing is, when I was around 9 years old he taught my brother and I how to ice skate so we could play ice hockey. I was handed a hockey stick about seven months later and held it as a right handed player would. So, I played ice hockey for seven years as a right hander. It felt natural. I tried it left handed and it was weird feeling.
I started playing golf when I was in my early thirties. As soon as I picked up a golf club, it came natural for me to swing left handed.
I bowled in a few leagues and it just came natural for me to hold the bowling ball hand.
I shoot all my firearms left handed.
I comfortably use scissors in my right hand.
I use my left hand to drink with. Same with my fork when eating.
I wipe my ass with my left hand.
If I ever kick a football or a soccer ball, it's with my left foot.
I open all doors with my right hand.
