Rudolph Giulani or perhaps Dean Mc Cain. No way for Hilary Clinton to be president.

Dean McCain? What is that....some type of sick mutation between John McCain and Howard Dean? :1orglaugh

Only one thing I know for sure....it won't be a republican. I'd go for Obama in a second....Hillary is unelectable (although I'd also vote for her) and the rest of the field is weak at best.

Just my :2 cents:

Whoever can afford to buy it by raising the most money and selling the office with promises beforehand.

Does it really matter in the end anymore? It's like "office speak". Once someone made a stupid comment to be stupid, like "it's a slam dunk". Then, people forgot that it was a joke and took it seriously. Then people were afraid to be on the outside by not using the term(s). The same with the US presidency anymore IMO. It's blah-blah-low taxes-blah-no more war-blah-abortion-blah-no abortion-blah.

It's government by soundbite and no one really seems to care - and if they do, have realized too late that the office was sold long ago. People used to have beliefs and convictions, but I think that those were auctioned off as well. It's about a hollow victory and an office that any respectable, honest, decent person wouldn't want.

I'm fed up with it and dread having to hear about it, and read about it here, in a growing crescendo for the next 2 years.

Apparently Barack's "cocaine past" may hinder his chances at office...

I'd still vote for him though.

However, every politician is a crook and liar!

No chance of a republican? Don't be so sure my friend. BNF hit the nail on the head about money. Who has the most money in this country still? Republicans. Who still has the moral majority on their side? Republicans. And they are still way better at politics too (especially in the Presidential race), compared to the Democrats.

Plus, the Democrats have yet to put up a candidate people will actually vote for. Obama? - not likely.

republican party, democratic party, independent party, green party, tea party, bukkake party, it doesnt matter. in the end, they are all the same. there will always be something wrong with the system.

Looking at all the possible canidates I feel sorry for this country. May god have mercy on us. It makes you wonder how long until government of the people, by the people, for the people, is going to perish.

Clinton's weed addiction didn't bother me ...

OH, I forgot! I mean one who smokes while he's in office! Maybe he did, who knows!
He did, but that's not what bothered me about him.
It's the fact that over 50% of his staffers failed hard-core drug tests.
Not merely weed. ;)

Clinton's first action in office was not gays in the military, but to suspend FBI background checks and drug tests on incoming staffers for 30 days.
Kinda explains most of what went wrong in those first 2 years too.

The movie Primary Colors did a fairly good job of characterizing many of the issues of the Clinton administration.
I'm not saying demonizing, because not all of it was bad -- a lot of it was actually introspective, not really bad.
