I haven't lifted since earlier this year. I busted my hand, and it's healed, but the motivation isn't there. Usually watching Pumping Iron gets me in the mood, but, I'm going to need motivation for that too.

Why is it that you're the only one who thought of that? Stay out of the locker room, bud.
Anyway... Lifting is the easy part. There's nothing that relives stress quite like getting in the squat rack and hitting 4-6 reps out of a deep hole. You can't tell me that there's anything else on your mind after doing that... well maybe getting under the HUGE rack that's on the treadmill.
Dieting is a whole different story. I don't know what's harder - putting on muscle or losing fat.
I used to but now I get plenty of workout at work delivering fucking furniture. As a matter of fact tomorrow is gonna be an ass kicker day, LOTS of heavy shit on that truck!
I know, I know, it's not the same as working out, but I just to damn lazy after work to workout!
I want to start doing it a lot more often, I need to build some muscle. I think I'll get a gym membership soon.
I can just hear him recite every word of that, as he's become all the more public as of late. Every little incident - There's Arnol with the press hangin' all over him. :1orglaughThese quote should get you motivated.
From Pumpin Iron
Arnold Schwarzenegger: The greatest feeling you can get in a gym, or the most satisfying feeling you can get in the gym is... The Pump. Let's say you train your biceps. Blood is rushing into your muscles and that's what we call The Pump. You muscles get a really tight feeling, like your skin is going to explode any minute, and it's really tight - it's like somebody blowing air into it, into your muscle. It just blows up, and it feels really different. It feels fantastic. . . ]so I am coming day and night. I mean, it's terrific. Right? So you know, I am in heaven.
