Quentin Tarantino.

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE Tarantino and his work. He used to have this "cult" status that fitted him perfectly, but now he is a world wide name, it just doesn't work out in his favour. People expect too much of him.

Tarantino. A hack, one of the most cynically financially motivated filmmakers who for some reason is celebrated by critics as an auteur. He is an auteur in the same way that Michael Bay is!
