Who is your most overrated movie director?

I have a couple just off the top of my head.

Tim Burton
Steven Soderberg

Ace Bandage

The one and only.
As much as I love Pulp Fiction and Reservoir Dogs, I have to say Quentin Tarantino. The two I mentioned were his best films and they were made in the early 90s. Plus, he might be the worst actor in the history of man.

Rey C.

Racing is life... anything else is just waiting.
I've got Woody Allen at #1. But yeah, Tarantino is somewhere in my Top 5.

Shit I totally forgot to mention Woody, although,as much as I can't stand him or his movies,I truly urge anyone to see his movie Match Point. It's fucking excellent, and the best thing about it is that he isn't in it for one second.

Quentin by a long shot.

And the Razzie goes to.... M. Night Shyamalan.

Honorable Mention goes to Michael "Boom Boom" Bay.

Oliver Stone...he had a few good ones, but they are far outnumbered by his bad ones

M Night Shymalan and Quentin Tarantino are the winners here. They both need to never make a film again. The single great movie that each made is being dragged into the shitter by all the shit that they've done recently.

That also sounds like a description of both Speilberg and Lucas, to a tee!

Tim Burton

How dare you!

M Night Shamalamanahahm is by far. Sixth Sense might be his best ever, which is a good movie, but it was his first!
George Lucas did give us Star Wars episodes IV-VI but he also gave us Star Wars episodes I-III. He also gave us Indiana Jones but he also gave us the Crystal Skull. But the man did make American Graffiti, thank god he hasn't made a prequel or a sequel to that, I am just imagining all the CGI in it.

It's a toss-up between Tim Burton and Quentin Tarentino. Both have made the occasional good movie (Batman, Edward Scissorhands, Pulp Fiction), but their stinkers outweigh the good ones... (Batman Returns, Beetlejuice, Big Fish, Planet of the Apes, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Corpse Bride, Mars Attacks, and pretty much every Tarentino movie besides Pulp Fiction).
