Schoenberg wasn't a classicist; he developed serialism into what is known as the twelve-tone technique, where no one pitch is more important than the other eleven in the octave. A pitch cannot be repeated until the other eleven have been played, hence the lack of tonal centers.
I just checked.
Seems the 1920s classicism is called Nordic Classicism in english and have nothing to do with the viennese school or anything else outside of the nordic countries.

Mr. Daystar

In a bell tower, watching you through cross hairs.
I tend to like a piece of music, as opposed to a composer. I really dig "Pictures At An Exhibition" by Modest Mussorgsky, and Bach's, "Brandenburg Concerto". There are others...can't name them, but the melody catches my ear, and I just dig the tune. I think a big reason I even listened to any, was because of Emerson, Lake & Palmer. They're on of my favorite bands, and anyone that's into them, gets what I mean.
