Who is/was your favorite member of Metallica

There seem to be some Metallica fans on here.....and since I'm bored it seems like a nice, pointless question to ask.

Hetfield. He could play some monster riffs and sing at the same time. Impressive. Plus he's a better drummer than Lars. Has anybody seen that clip of the drum "duel"?? Good stuff.

I'm having a hard time decideing between James and Jason. Jason seems like a cool motherfucker, but James is the voice of Metallica and probaby more musically talented than Jason.

Yes, I saw it a long time ago.

Do you remember when James injured himself in a water skiing accident during the Summer Sanitarium Tour? Anyway, James missed like 3 shows and I went to one of them in Dallas. Other singers from other bands filled in for him during Metallica's set.......(Johnathan Davis, Kid Rock) yeah, I didn't really care for those, but Jason sang a few songs. He would try to imitate James' "RRRARGH!" that he does all the time. I couldn't tell if he was trying to copy him or make fun of him. It was funny as fuck. :1orglaugh

Jason always seemed like, a filler member to me. Just a guy and never truly part of the band. I liked him, and he had some good grooves, but just never felt he was Metallica, mostly due to the other guys refusal to accept he was Cliffs replacement, but whatever.
