She probably stated that to fuel some guys' fantasies.

The escort theory would work for me too. One thing that contracts this is that if she was a successful (which is most likely to assume) escort, she would have been more widely known before, probably even having her own website or being featured on others.
The rich husband hypothesis, of course, would be the saddest result, however not the least likely..

I'm sure she must have some other web presence (party pictures, maybe even a website). Let's keep exploring!
