I like most of the guys on Chelsea.

Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink

Emmanuel Petit

Joe Cole

I agree that Hasselbaink is a good striker, but Petit and Cole are both midfielders. I can't remember the last time Petit scored.

My top three strikers would be:

Henry
Ronaldo
Raul

Emmanuel Petit

Joe Cole

Petit is a midfielder, not a striker.

And Joe Cole is an over rated, over hyped useless piece of shit.......no offence joe, but its true.

You have got to be taking the piss? Silicone, you have to be a Fulham fan, or Man U or French!

For the record, I don't particularly think there is any 1 great forward in the world right now, there are alot of good players around, so i will give an extended list from the major countries

Argentina
-------------

Crespo is the complete forward, hasn't had the chance to show Chelsea fans how good he is because of injury and a personal tragedy, but he will.

Saviola, pure quality being abused by Rijkaard, who is clueless.

Tevez, the maradona comparison is easy to make, but in Tevez's case it is true, arguably the best Argentine talent since Maradona.

Cavenaghi, the Crespo clone, potentially better than him, further at this stage in his career than Crespo was.

Brasil
-------

I hate Brasil, but i suppose Ronaldonut has to be included in this kind of list.

France
--------

Henry is frightening.
Trezeguet is a better finisher (he is also part Argentine, few know that)

Spain
-------
Raul is pure class

Holland
-----------
Van Nistelroy is a goal machine

Italy
-------
Vieri is like Batigol, give him a chance and its a goal, he might not do anything for most of the game......and yet he ends up with 2 goals from 1 and a half chances!

Totti, Del Piero are both outstanding no 10's.

As for other players.....Adriano of Brasil could be great if he keeps developing, as can Obefemi Martins of Nigeria. Mutu is a class act, as is Shevchenko.

Like I said though, no one striker for me stands out.......they all have their qualities. What is sad though, is that Pavel Nedved did not win World Footballer of the Year, it is a shame FIFA have made a mockery of the award, at least he won the Euro title...with Tevez taking the award in South America.

3-0 , world cup final 1998...

it's very fun to see how people all over the globe choose van nistelrooij. Before PSV he played at my favorite team, SC Heerenveen, never knew he would be this big.
Though I dont really have an opinion on strikers, I like the wing players like Overmars and Roberto Carlos

Zidane

the better player off all.

only is presence in scene makes it a different game.

Again, whilst Zidane is probably one of the great players in the world right now, he's not exactly a striker, more of a playmaker.

Maybe because we won 5 world cups or... we destroyed Argentina in the last Sub 23 world cup or the reason of the best players in the world are brazilians...

I disagree with b23k that there isn't a one great forward in the world right now. Jesus christ, Thierry Henry is the dogs bollocks. He is amazing. I would pay 100 quid to watch that guy play. In my opinion there is no better striker in the world than Henry at this moment in time, his all round game is just superb.

BTW, i'm not an Arsenal fan.

i have to dissagree sutty henry is good, no he's a brilliant player but he fades into the shadows when in big matches like in the champions leauge. the best in the world today has to be ruud van nistelrooy the man is a proven goal machine wether it be in the premiership or the champions leauge, the man has scored i think 98 goals in like 103 premiship games, two seasons and he's nearly got his century and he was last years top goalscorer in the champions league two things henry has not done.

Well we are all entitled to our opinions. Whilst RVN is great at scoring goals in the 18 yard box, Henry's come from all over the pitch, you only have to look at his goal against Man City on Sunday, surely one of the goals of the season. RVN and Henry are totally different players, so maybe they cannot be compared, RVN is a box player, whereas Henry comes from deep and uses his pace.

ignore the other thing i posted the same comment again by accident!

yes i respect ur opinion mate don't worry there i think henry is a great player, but the point i was trying to make is as a out and out goalscorer there is no better than van nistelrooy his record speaks for it's self, but van nist does'nt only score from the box just look at his maradonna esc goal against fulham last season.

You mean because FIFA give you World Cups, by handing you the piss easy route.

Who finished top of SA Quaifying? We did
Whose framework did Scolari openly admit he copied? Ours

What the hell are you talking about? Sub 23? We just KNOCKED YOU OUT..does this ring any bells......." Gonzalo Rodriguez....GOOOOOOAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLLL"

VAMOS VAMOS ARGENTINA, VAMOS VAMOS A GANAR.......

The best players around the World are Argentine, everyone knows that, that is why we have countless players playing in Spain and Italy...that is why all our young products are bought within minutes from the domestic league.

Look at the difference, Saviola went to Barca, Aimar went to Valencia, Tevez will be at Bayern at some point (hopefully not soon, as i am a Boca fanatic), Cavenaghi probably at Juventus.

And then look at Brasil, your best youth product Diego (named after the best player to ever play the game) is linked with.............Spurs!!!! Spurs FFS, I could shit a better team!:nanner:

Argentina will win the Copa and Olympics this Summer...even though we have an idiot Bielsa in charge of our team.

Tell Pele to keep taking the viagra, and sucking Blatter's cock!

That really surprises me big time, but i respect your opinion, although i would totally 100% disagree.

Man U panicked into buying Saha, he is not even an international, and is not fit to lace Henry's boots or for that matter Trezeguet, Gouvou etc etc

Saha has been shit for Fulham bar the promotion season from div one, and this season, he is an average striker who will do well at Man U, cos lets face it anyone could with all the chances they create.

He will look piss poor in the champions lge, which is what really matters, cos lets face it Man U dominate English football.
