Who are your Pornstars to watch for 2010?

1. It's been very lackluster the past few years. Unless one of the handful of the very few top quality adult models (or at least top non-b/g people) moves to hardcore or somebody totally new comes onto the scene that is hot beyond compare and just has the stuff there is nobody worth mentioning. Even last year somebody that could be considered somewhat in that category, Jelena Jensen did move on, and has it seems to be pretty subdued compared to what you would expect for something like that. So that didn't even work. That whole Hannah Hilton thing didn't end to well either for that matter. Maybe Esperanza Gomez, but she's just ok not that great, and the fact she would have to be listed here is just indicative how lousy the field is overall. Breanne Benson if she can go back to dark hair, gain some weight to get back where she was and not get any more tattoos is a maybe. Maybe Yurizan Beltran depending on how far she goes. So unless people like Sandee Westgate, or Aria Giovanni shocks the porn world and inexplicably gets in full on hardcore full time before they really reach the deep twilight of their careers (very doubtful, especially for Aria) or even some of the other younger people like Love Gisele or Shay Loren for example (also pretty doubtful, Gisele maybe a small chance someday but no chance short term and she is probably successful enough there is a good chance she will never need to) or even some of the prime relatively underrated and unknown people out there like Gemma Massey or Jenny Poussin or a lot of the other ones I could mention here (again extremely doubtful) I'm not going to hold my breath for anybody. None of the conventional prospects impresses me that much. In fact most of those people I would never want to go hardcore anyway. In a lot of ways I can't really blame anybody for not going the hardcore route the last few years. Even if it was something they might have normally done or maybe seriously considered five, ten, or fifteen years ago.

2. This is where I would like to list Sunny Leone and Kayden Kross,...but both of them have really underachieved. I hate to say it because I'm a fan of hers but Sunny really botched things up career wise. Out of all people I would have expected a greater than normal chance to really have the knowledge and experience to manage her career well she's one of the last I would of predicted that about. It seems like she hit a wall somewhere or something else went wrong behind the scenes. I actually expected better. Maybe it was just the time with things the way they are in the industry and a bunch of things came together to impede things. I don't know. In any case this is either the year she turns it around or the year that becomes the beginning of the end for her. As far as Kayden is concerned yes, she moved on the Digital Playground, but they aren't perceptibly better than Adam & Eve, and in a lot of ways they are worse in ways that I don't fell getting into right now. This post is already long enough. Even worse, though, they have started to sign and release people so quickly they are virtually a revolving door. Just think of all the people they let go in the past 2 or 3 years, a lot of them not even lasting more than months. They actually have gotten to the point where they make Vivid look good in comparison on that factor. DP also has a tendency to hire douchebag male talent for half their scenes. As far as Kayden herself she seems smarter and above the average porn chick in a lot of ways, and it's probably more true than not, but I don't totally buy into a lot of the most praiseworthy stuff that goes her way either.

As far as who should go here, who knows. I don't know if they qualify as already having breakouts or not but maybe Kagney Linn Karter and Jayden James. Even with those two there are a lot of things that don't impress me about them. I'm sure in the chaotic and fickle world of porn somebody might emerge just out of sheer chance and be successful when they walk ass backwards into it, but like potential newcomers there just isn't anybody that screams "breakout person", "the it girl", or "the next big thing". Even in years past there were a few prospects. This year even some of the real potentials that maybe would have made it like Kylee Strutt, (well as long as she could learn to shut up the stupid moaning during a scene.) have already quit In fact some of the "next big things" of years past that actually kind of did make it for a while fell off really really fast. Remember Amy Ried? Remember Lela Star? Heck, remember Jesse Jane? How much you want to bet in a year or two people will be saying, "Remember Kagney and Jayden?" about at least one and a reasonable chance for both of them. Look at all the winners for AVNs best female performers and how long it took for them to fall off. It's almost all of them already. I know she's on here and I don't want to hurt her feelings but, even Eva Angelina has gone down a lot and some of that started even a little before she won the award. I guess if I wanted to go with the safest pick possible I would pick some aged MILF. That seems to be a fad in porn that way outlived it's shelf date but for some reason the genre lingers on like a zombie that's decrepit but won't die.

3. As far as comebacks I don't see any obvious person, and even more I don't really have anybody in porn I would want to come back. There are a few former adult models I wouldn't mind if they came back to adult modeling, or in some cases to be more accurate I would have preferred that things could have gone better in their lives while they were in the industry so they didn't feel the need to leave and they might still be with us. That's about it though.

Raylene had the enthusiasm of a dead fish in her scenes back in her prime. Now she's older, saggier, fatter, and more tattooed. It's not a good combination. Dyanna Lauren is another person that should have never come back. Pretty much almost nobody should come back if they have passed the 30 years old mark. Most of them never even bother to stay in shape. Maybe if they worked out like a fitness model all that time to keep themselves young. I say "pretty much" in case there is that person out there that is still hot as hell and knows what she is doing. That, however, is probably a very rare thing and is definitely the exception and not the rule.

fully support your comments on yurizan beltran and breanne benson, except regarding breannes hair colour... ;)
but you are right, true new pornstars cannot be expected in 2010. the often mentionend esperanza gomez for instance truly has the look of a true pornstar and a fantastic body. but in my eyes there is an enormous lack of true sexual energy (for example compared with lezley zen...), but maybe we can expect some progress in this field. hope so!

mallory rae will be successfull in 2010 maybe mainly since she'll be always regarded as "evan's girl", cause she shall have lost her virginity in her first hardcore scene with evan stone. maybe only this fact will be a crucial and unique bonus in the eyes of the viewers

If we aren't interested in these things, then why do we care about porn anymore?
