I'm genuinely concerned this weekend is a prime target, more than any public holiday. Think about it, terrorists do this stuff to get attention, and there's going to be an exponential impact if it happens this weekend.
I don't think any candidate will stoop to orchestrating such an ******, but I'd say it'd be clear Trump would benefit immensely if it happened. Much like how Dubya got insane approval ratings after 9/11, I'd bet this would easily put Trump over the top. Heck, it doesn't have to be Islamic terrorists; we know there are plenty of militant groups that wouldn't mind having Trump in power, and if something happened over the weekend, you know the US public will assume it's foreign terrorists and the government wouldn't be able to prove otherwise before tuesday.
