Which members are from Canada, Eh?!

Naw. Just another Indian who is fighting for territory.

It sucks. All the policies in place regarding native american sucks. I understand the situation but i know, it doesnt help and it changes nothing. I'm happy to have seen the Nunavut rise. We need more nunavuts and less reserves.

Fight. That's indeed the good thing to do.

Sidenote : I'm interrested to hear about what is going on for you as a native american. If you are into politics, keep me informed - i'm sure i'm not alone who wants to hear about it.

Just interested in Euro-les porn.

I'm Canadian, but I don't say "eh." I personally think that's a myth, have no idea how we came to be identified with that stereotype.

Oh, and I'm also Native, also a Cancuks fan.

Let's keep the canuck content quiet so we could quietly conquer the world.

Greetings Canadians! From across the Detroit River! Toronto and Montreal are a few of my favorite cities. I also have family in Ottawa.

You guys have room over there? Our government is a joke, I think I might head over to a country that actually knows what they are doing...

What's wrong with you? Another Quebec-basher?

I'm just trying to give a neutral portrayal of the current elections in the Quebec province. As much as it would be appriopriate to talk about Saskatchewan or Ontario elections in a CANADIAN thread.

Trying to give a neutral portrayal of the current elections in Quebec... ????

That is fantastic DAWN. If only journalists could give information as clear as you just did.

This is truely, and in very few words, one of the best and unbiased portrayal I read anywhere about the situation here. :hatsoff::hatsoff::hatsoff:

Thanks bunker!

I'm just back home after casting my vote (guess fo who :D).

The overall situation in Canada (Harper vs The Alliance) makes this election very special. I really wonder how much it will have an impact on the vote.

It's pretty obvious Jean Charest's Liberal will have a new mandate. I wouldnt be surprised if they have even the majority in Parlement. Charest is probably pissed at his former political party (Conservatives at Federal) who just stimulated the independentistes and souverainistes fiber in Québec...

The whole political situation in Canada is very unique - we never experienced a provincial election in such political instable federal situation.

I'm gonna be watching this election closely. Quebec's elections are the most important provincial elections in the country, and given all the turmoil in Ottawa right now this election could have serious reprocussions.

True.

I just hope that regardless of what will happend, there won't be a rise of the Quebec-bashing in Canada.

The 50 blockists at Ottawa are there to defend Quebec interrests - and if we elect a non-independantist provincial governement like we will likely do (Jean Charest's Liberal), they will have to abide by the contradictions of the Quebec Province...

Hell, even as a french canadian, i am myself wondering often What Does Québec Wants? :dunno:

For sure, we (citizens of the Quebec Province) don't want to decide things for the whole Canada. At least, that's what i understand from the french speaking population. That's something on what (almost) all canadian citizens agree.

I'm not from Canada.

I just wanted to say, keep your stick on the ice. :D

Haha! :D

Canada is in a serious political crisis, Will E. Maybe the biggest we ever had since our foundation in 1867.

It might be hard to explain everything without writing a novel

For sure, we are united when it comes to hockey! :1orglaugh

Yeah, me and my friends always say that hockey is the one reason Quebec is still a part of Canada. If Quebec separates, what will they call their NHL team?

We are very close for the official hour when partial results can be publically reveled.

Anyone else watching?
