can you guys recommend a good host? I just want to register an average .com domain with a few e-mails and thats about it....oh, and I plan to run wordpress on it so it should come with .php.
I run my website on Dreamhost, and it comes with a handy Wordpress installer, so there are no compatibililty issues at all. Be sure to get it through the link on Wordpress.org:

i think godaddy is very known, but i use namecheap, they have whois guard free for 1 year. name cheap does not offer hosting, but offers email forwarding. so godaddy is better for you i think.
