Most porn is too degrading now. It's getting too 'hardcore'. Too production line. The porn was better in the 90's. Say the late 90's.
Before that the women just weren't as great looking (generally).
Also, I think today's pornstars' bodies are the best ever. But (with DEFINITE exceptions) as porn has gotten harder, the actresses looks have gotten a little 'harder' too.

Porn has better visual production value now as the cheap equipment has gotten better and any buffoon can operate a camera to make it work, but it also has gotten much more stupid, degrading, fake, and ridiculous which is saying something considering it wasn't exactly doing great in those categories before. Even most bigger stars are out the door in a year or two now, and the exploitation of people that probably don't belong in the industry is even worse and there is more of those people now. More people go through the motions now, or at least the don't fake it as well and you can tell they aren't into it. There are better looking people on average now...maybe,...but there is also a lot more of them, even the good looking ones, that looked tired and used up where they seem to be entering the old whorish stage of their career even earlier. Drugs are still bad in the industry and maybe even a little worse now. Nobody promotes the pornstars good now, even the bigger companies. Even the bigger companies either struggle to keep their people for over a year or they just get rid of them after that amount of time. Being a contract star now that last a long time is hard feat now compared to even 5 or 6 years ago. Practically almost everybody escorts on the side now to keep the cash rolling in for themselves. Porn was in a economic downturn even before the country was going through one now. Overall I would say it's probably worse than it used to be on most things and any women that decides to get into it now, unless she looks so good she is the greatest thing since sliced bread and has a lot of power from the start, is pretty stupid.

1970's is cool with me (mainly due to Kay Parker, and Seka)

1980's is fine by me as well (Christy Canyon, Angel, Nina Hartley, more Kay Parker ect ect)

1990's is a good era (more Christy Canyon ... Jenna Jameson, Nikki Tyler, Asia Carrera, Kobe Tai, Ashlyn Gere, Celeste, ect ect)

2000's is ok for the most part, but seems a bit lackluster compared the the decades that preceeded it. Atleast IMHO.

Now definitely. Most of the bad porn elements have been done away with. All the 90s porn I have consist of really hot girls who don't really do much and most scenes are less than 10 minutes long. Some even less than 5 minutes long. Complete ripoff.
