What's Your Favourite 1980's Action Movie?

For me it's Aliens, Robocop, Terminator & Predator.
But i still love the rest and man they dont make action movies like they used to back in the 80's.

That's a tough one. I honestly can't decide. If I had to, I'd probably rule out Rambo II and III first... but after that.

And I'd include Lethal Weapon in the list of top 80's action movies.

There are some movies, that "build bridges" between the 1980's action movies and modern action movies. You have to look carefully, because these movies are often put into the same box with all the other action flicks or blockbusters of their season, but there are a lot of good movies with striking similarities to the 80's action movies in storytelling or action/scene built up. Take "Shooter" or "Man on Fire" for example.

Total Recall gets the podium for my all time favorite action movie though

I liked the first Rambo the best. I know some people that were almost like the character in the movie.

Well, my #1 is on your list, as is my #2, but where's the first "Lethal Weapon"???? Predator, Die Hard, and Lethal Weapon are my top three for greatest action flicks EVER.

From that list I think I only seen Alien and Terminator so I'll go for Terminator but I failed to understand this movie. Effects are great but it doesn't make sense time travelling (they are creating an endless loop) and cyborgs fearing humans.
