Vanilla. Slightly icy. On top of some Hanks Root Beer or a good cream soda.

Just Mint or Mint Chocolate Chip? I like Mint Chocolate Chip.

Just remembered something... When I first started dating my wife she served me this Ice Cream that had Cheddar Cheese in it. It wasn't that bad. That stuff is probably more popular in The Philippines. Had my first Green Tea Ice Cream with her too. That's OK also.

I'm sure you've had ensaymada's right? Somehow, that works so well. Cheese and sweet salty butter on that stupid yummy brioche. The one with ube inside is especially lovely. Never had ice cream with the cheese though.

I haven't had that one. I'd give it a shot. I've made good with the Filipinos with having an open mind to try things. I still will not eat balut. I've eaten chicken intestines and Chocolate Pork (that stuff ain't chocolate neither).

Try it. I think you'll like em. Let me know!

Have you tried their so-called "Chocolate porridge" eaten at breakfast time? That Chocolate needs to be in quotes. Also, balut stinks like a wet chicken. I don't blame you.

It used to be Ben & Jerry's "this is totally nuts", Which was pistachio and chocolate, swirled into the containers. Now, it's anything Tom & Jerry DOESN'T make....seeing as I am not thrilled with their current celebrity affiliations, I will be boycotting Ben & Jerry's. The reason, is their affiliation with colin kapernik. I find him to be a waste of usefulness, so I'll eat someone else's ice cream.

But as a child I do remember "United Dairy Farmers" brand, and stores. They made a helluva good ice cream......chocolate almond, Golden Vanilla were the ice creams, orange pinnapple, and lemon, were the sherbets, and the freezer was ALWAYS full, back then. I had a great family, I am truly blessed, now that I think about how good I had it.

plus a couple times a year one of my loved ones made a drink ice cream and sherbet. It was amazing. I wish I had a recipe to recreate it.

I was a big chocolate ice cream fan especially rocky road ice cream in my younger days. It had to be with Hershey's chocolate syrup, whipped cream and chocolate sprinkles.

Now it is either vanilla ice cream with chocolate syrup and whipped cream or butter pecan ice cream with caramel syrup.

Now with 35% less bullshit
I like black cherry ice cream, some brands call it burgundy cherry - it is usually a "premium" flavor. Next in line is Chapman's (Canadian brand) orange-pineapple, tastes way better than it sounds. If all else fails, chocolate. That's regular ice creme but if we're talking soft-serve, you can't beat vanilla, e.g. Dairy Queen style.

Oh man, I can't believe I forgot about "Blue Moon". it wasn't easy to find, but "Helen Hutchley's" used to sell it.
