How about “Lincoln and Davis” which is the last book I read? It was way too long and needed a better editor.

Currently working my way through Ron Chernow’s Mark Twain. I am reading it before it hits Broadway in 2027.

I recently finished a novel called Cleave the Sparrow by Jonathan Katz. It is certainly unique. I gave it four stars on Goodreads. After that, I read Survivor by JF Gonzalez for the second time (first time in '06) - still good. Currently reading How to Become the Dark Lord and Die Trying by Django Wexler - a humorous and fun palette cleanser after Survivor which is not a happy story.
