What's the issue?

Earlier today I posted a pic in a thread, trying to identify the pornstar in the picture. I logged out and realized that my post had disappeared.

I then logged in and discovered that my post was there but had been edited by a mod. (As of one minute ago, it's been removed) I assume that the message in "Notices" that reads "Please be aware that if links come up as ****, you could be ****** if you try to work around the censor" is related to this.

The picture I posted was not from a members area of a pay site. I expected a simple response to my post and got this instead. :bang:

You can't post links to sites that come up with all asterisks. Period. Those sites are ****** from being posted here. Most of the time it's because they post material from a website that isn't generally available for free. In other words, they're not charging for content that people are supposed to pay for.

In the future, copy and paste the picture into a photo editing program and save it. Then upload that picture to a hosting site and post the link in your ID thread. Problem solved.

Actually, the link never appeared as all asterisks. 'Tis why I'm a bit confused.

Alrighty, tried doing what you said.

The result: post appears only when I'm logged in and has a "Moderated Post" icon at the lower right.

This is far more complicated than it should be.

Posts by new members are moderated until they have made at least 5 posts, so post more and your problem is gone

I didn't want to post in the "ID Babe" section simply because the model technically isn't a "babe" and I thought I'd get better help in the section that it was previously in as it's specifically for this... eh, genre of porn.
