remember when this was all over dumb shows like unsolved mysteries and shit? now no one talks about it any more. its like they all jus- BOOOOM!!

Like many other popular theories it was hot for a while then just sort of burned itself out.

Whimsy, does that explanation truly satisfy you? It's not like these people burn for a week .... they spontaneously combust and burn to ashes where they sit - at a rate that is seemingly impossible to stop.

It's not like some fat guy sits in a chair having a smoke and drops a piece of ash on himself which begins to smolder - and his ass is too wide to allow him to get up ... so he sits there for a week sobbing while he melts.

... in these cases, people go up like matches.

It is internal.

Especially if drinking alcohol seeing how the fumes are flammable and go to light up and one spark can set it off. Especially if overweight and the fat catches on fire.

That is why I would hate to be stuck by a fat person on a plane if the plane should go down. It would be a fire death trap.

So yes my answer is satisfying.

my point was simply that you can't just hold a flame to a fat person and watch them burn down to their shoes and socks.

An external source for the fire has always been found. After ignition the body fat burns like a candle wick. There's no mystery and it's called the Wick Effect.

a guy who lived a couple blocks away from me spontaneously combusted, it was sad cuz i knew his family but it does happen! All they found were his feet in his shoes and some fingers, the rest of the body burned to a crisp. Plus the house didn't burn just the carpet where he lay
