Have you read Cracking the Davinci Code? I read that right after reading Davinci.Good stuff.
nope was it written by dan brown?

i would highly suggest aldous huxley a brave new world. that is a great book

I am not reading it now but have done and seriously recomend 'Perfume' by Patrick Suskind. It is an amazing story.

Or you may try Michael Marshall Smith (Sci Fi) He is an amzing author, copyright to his books have been bought by Warner Bros. and Steven Spielberg! He has a few books out and one full of short stories which is equally as good. If you like thriller then he also uses the name Michael Marshall.

Please let me know your feedback if you have already read his books, I think he is an amazing author with some original and not too futuristic ideas.

Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six. I read at IMDB that the movie is being considered.

Rereading Good Omens by Terry Prachett and Neil Gaiman. In my opinion, the best book ever! My copy is so dogeared it's not even funny.

Just finished reading the book Der Schwarm from the german author Frank Schätzing. I had to dig out this thread because I would like to recommend this ecological thriller, it kept fascinating me over the last weeks. It's only available in german at the moment, but being translated into english and more languages.

Here's a bit additional information: new books in german

Violator79

Take a Hit, Spunker!

Just finished "Angels & Demons" myself. Both it and "The Da Vinci Code" are excellent reads, but I would have to recomend "Angels" over "Code" believe it or not.

at the moment i read the 7th and last part of the dark tower by stephen king. sometimes a bit difficult to read but finally a really great story.

this thread died off and i wanted to revive it. i am re reading swan song by robert r mcammon. i read this book years ago and decided to re-read it. good stuff!
