What would you like to see on the FreeOnes Board?

Here's something that I miss from the earlier version of the board
When searching, limiting the MAXIMUM number of posts in the thread results (for some bizarre reason, you can only input a MINIMUM)

View attachment 1153223
Here is a link to the search on the official XenForo forum - https://xenforo.com/community/search/?type=post

As you can see, it is just the default functionality.

And we can't just click a button to turn it on, either.

Without knowing what you are searching for, what you can do is go to 'search threads' order by 'most replies' and check the 'display results as threads' box.

It will then give you a list of the results starting with the threads with the most replies to the ones with the least.

Less of .... Get rid of all of the PartyHardcore, Drunk Sexy Orgy, etc. Identification and Scene Request Threads. I don't hate them. But I dislike them tremendously. Ban the words. And don't allow them anywhere on the boards. Any threads that now exist? Close them. Tell these members to go elsewhere. Tell them to go back to reddit or tumblr or to whatever shithole they came from.

Three quarters of the members who I have on ignore here are the ones requesting PartyHardcore, Drunk Sexy Orgy Identification and Scene Requests. Any members who I see requesting or responding to this crap go immediately to ignore. No exceptions.

Why do I hate these people? For example, they are guys who ask for .. "in PH 34, episode 14, scene 22, from 2009 (remastered in 2013 under Tainster). It also was from Drunk Sexy Orgy 18, scene 13 (under Digital Media Management in 2011): there was this sexy brunette lady, who was on screen for about three minutes and who gave the guy she was dancing with a tremendous blow job for a minute and a half. Who is she? I want to know more about her! Other places, other scenes?"

(Even though everyone on planet Earth knows that she is a "one and done.") -- Who the f**k cares?
This isn't really relevant to what I was looking for when I started this thread but even if it would be I don't see any reason for us to take action with any of these points.

Whether you do or don't like something, it's not necessarily a reason to get rid of it. The sites you mention are consistently popular with users making ID requests for a reason - because those sites still remain popular and because they are not quite like most other porn that's ever been made, featuring performers that are often not easily identifiable. The people requesting might not know they're a "one and done". How would they know until they ask? Not everyone is gifted with your encyclopaedic knowledge.

I know you're not backwards with coming forwards with your opinions on certain companies and sites but I'm not sure insulting people making (largely) innocent ID requests is at all necessary. You're an invaluable member of this community and have been for a number of years now but I think you let yourself down with posts like this that I also think you know isn't what we were asking for in this thread. We won't be changing anything on this front.
Ways to earn credits on the forums would be nice.
I am going to put this to the admin and get back to you.
Here's a big one - Q&As or other opportunities to interact and ask questions with OCSMs.
I know there was an issue with conduct & abuse before, but I think with the proper safeguards it can be done.
You have an amazing and unique resource in the OCSMs - why not use them to their full potential?
OCSMs, in my opinion, are done. It was something that was popular back at a time when forums were the main hub of communication online but that hasn't been the case for several years. No performer is going to take time out of their day to post on a messageboard when they can interact more immediately with their fans on social media. How many OCSMs are still active on here? A genuine question, I don't know. But it doesn't seem like more than a couple are.

Thanks for the replies. I thought my suggestions got lost ;)

It might be worth the time to take inventory of the OCSM's that are still around. I assume you can check by last post/login etc. Then you could contact them and see if they're interested in doing something on the site.

I get your point that it makes more sense on social media. But I'd raise my previous suggestion of them having their own personal interaction thread where they get full admin rights (i.e. instantly deleting posts/banning trolls). I feel that kind of control can make it attractive over typical social media accounts.

Also, it might be good for lesser known/newer stars who can develop a fanbase.

I know it's all conjecture right now, but at the very least, I think taking inventory is a good start to see if OCSMs are "done" or not.

You should be used to how slow I am by now!

I just think things have moved on. We had a push with OCSMs a couple of years ago and the response was negligible. Maurice might see it differently but I suspect not. From what I've seen, only a couple of OCSMs are still busy round here. Back in the days of Miss FreeOnes, the landscape was very different but back then we didn't have OnlyFans and Twitter wasn't what it is today.

The FreeOnes board is still busy in certain ways but in others not so much, because there are other more immediate places to interact with performers. In terms of admin powers, a forum is more limited compared to social media accounts. OCSMs have had their day in my opinion.

If you ever come across threads you think should be merged, you can report it (as in using the report button underneath a post) or even better, use this thread which is set up for this very purpose - https://www.freeones.com/forums/thr...ing-title-changes-post-deleting.432618/latest

But there are subtle differences between those threads. One allows for turn ons, one is purely turn offs.

The person who revived it the other day did so to state a turn on, rather than a turn off.

And whether threads should be allowed to be bumped after x amount of time is a separate debate, I guess.

Whenever someone replies to an old thread from years ago, it's generally a ticking clock before someone makes a comment along the lines of "oh, wow. necro bump!" and it all gets a bit tedious.

I find necro bumps to be good. I'd rather have someone reuse/revive a thread instead of having the board littered with clone threads.

Plus, we get to see @Steve-FreeOnes do his necro-comment gimmick, which is always entertaining.

Well, it depends if it is a literal bump or just a post after a long time has passed. If someone is just saying "bump" or a remark which adds nothing then it is pointless - whereas if someone is genuinely trying to add to a discussion topic; regardless of its age - then that is obviously far more within the grounds of acceptability. Plus it shows they have searched before posting which is a good thing. Though I do often wonder if some people realize just how old a thread is sometimes before they post. Finding a thread is one thing but being aware of the dates is another.

All I was saying is that there are some users (not Steve) who can't see past the gap between the most recent post and the one before it and make some kind of sarcastic remark about it which only serves to kill the thread off for second time rather than give it the chance to be revived fully which is why it is often those type of posts which bug me more than the person digging the thread up in the first place.

Anything porn industry plus pornstars! I would love great discussions regarding their daily lives and to get a glimpse into who a pornstar truly is. It's tough cause this is just the nature of this job where you only see social media but wouldn't it be amazing to see and learn more about who they actually are ! I think that would be what Onlyfans could be used for for some pornstars with their interactions and live shows with their fans. Just my two cents however I love all things porn industry and definitely glad we have the message board and I am glad we live in countries where we can appreciate pornstars as we all do together l! 🥰

Did Freeones hit it's peak in the summer of 2012 when Vicky Vette won Miss Freeones?? Why no more Miss Freeones , not to reminisce but I do miss those days on here. I definitely think this thing it still going strong but would love to see a Miss Freeones even though OCSM are dead unfortunately :/

Well they did have two more contests ... Christy Mack won in 2013 and Miss Hybrid won in 2014.

The 2012 contest was brutal. An OCSM war. Mariah Milano hating Vicky Vette. Vicky and her girlfriends, aka the VNA girls, hating on Mariah. Allegations of widespread cheating coming from the Vicky camp. Heck, most of the Vicky's large contingent of fans wanted Vicky in 2010 (Bree Olson won) and in 2011 (Sophie Dee won). What helped Vicky greatly was that Sophie Dee joined the VNA right after Francesca Le and just after the 2011 contest. The 2012 contest became a test and was there shenanigans and cheating coming from Vicky, her husband (who was banned here) her friends and the members of the vickyathome.com website? Many say there was.

Dang, I had no clue of all of this backstory?! That sounds intriguing and drama filled time on this message board. What does VNA stand for, its a modeling agency? Well Sophie Dee was an original favorite pornstar I have even though I have never got the poison out to her. Definitely loved her curves and her boobs though! What a time to be alive back then here on the Freeones board, I do feel like Bree Olson was coasting off the Charlie Sheen incidents but actually come to think of it, this was a year before the Charlie Sheen stuff right? I was more into Kacey Jordan myself..

Bree Olson / Charlie Sheen was in 2011. Christy Mack / War Machine abuse incident was in 2014.

VNA = is the vette-national-army. Mainly it is the group of female pornstars that have joined Vicky in making vickyathome.com the best live cam show network on the internet. It is also what the entourage -- Vicky, the members of the websites; her girlfriends: Puma Swede, Nikki Benz, Sara Jay, Julia Ann, Sophie Dee, Tasha Reign, Carmen Valentina, Shanda Fay, Lauren Phillips, Jelena Jensen, Angelina Castro, Gabby Quinteros, Sunny Lane, Trish Uptown, Charlee Chase, Penny Pax, Maggie Green, and Deauxma, (Sasha Sparks and Francesca Le are no longer VNA girls) and their significant others -- calls itself when they make appearances at the eroticaxxx and exoticaxxx conferences. These are the places: shows and events that are open to the public. The AVN and Xbiz, on the other hand, are conferences that are closed off to the general public.

Just to be clear - are we being real or sarcastic here?
This was real. No joke. I think Mariah still has it out for Vicky. In fact, Mariah lost her OCSM distinction because of the incident. As a result of the contest and all the bad vibes it generated, Vicky also has pretty much stopped posting here.

Contests coordinated with various sponsors / sites, like in year past?? Answer 4 to 6 questions from visiting their site, and pick a winner out of the peeps with the correct answers.

It's something I've been considering bringing back and I can think of a couple of sponsors who would be interested in doing something like this. I'll put it to the Boss (not Springsteen) and see what is said.
