What will be a national football coach's decision after he had found out that the captain of the national football team paid for the abortion's cost of his mistress? Please give some good advice to the national football coach which is to retained the player as the captain of the national football team or to give the title (captain) to other player. You should know that the captain is a well known person and he is a role model to all youth who will one day play for the national team. We will see some other people (athlete or football player) will do the same if the coach does take no action and this action (abortion) is to be legal in the future.

The Football Association (FA) of the national team has clearly indicated that they will not interfere with this issue and will accept whatever decision which will be taken by the national football team coach.

Abortion is already legal in UK.

As for Terry keeping the armband, I fail to see what taking the captaincy of hiim will achieve if he is still in the squad. On ability Terry will be in the English squad so surely if he remains in the squad then he should stay captain.

All right, silly American question: is it a big deal to be captain of your team in the UK? Who gives a **** about an arm band. We have Captains over here in the States, but it just means you get a "C" on your chest and you're calling the coin toss whenever you're the visiting team. It's more of a symbolic gesture - you make your emotional leader the captain because he can rally the troops. You wouldn't take it away from him if he paid for an abortion, at least not on this side of the Atlantic.

The captain is a big deal in UK for most people. The captain is supposed to be the spiritual leader on the pitch, leading by example. If things are not going right he has to fire team mates up. Sort of like a manager on the pitch. The go between for players and coaching staff.

Also in rugby the only player allowed to speak to the ref is the captain.

This is stupid.
Whatever Terry could do in his private life, as long as he's good on the pitch, that's all what should matter.
