What The Left Won't Tell You About Gun Sales

So who's doing the name calling now? Hey frenchy...guns don't save lives...they kill lives...that's why guns mainly wind up in the wrong hands of those who need the urge to pull a trigger...did guns save lives when that guy shot those in the movie theater?...do guns save lives in present wars today? Wouldn't you feel bad if you shot and killed someone in self-defence? That's why there should be a ban on guns. Get rid of them permanently...like I said before...use a boomerang as a self defence weapon or a fucking bamboo stick or tase the poor bastard...I believe guns today is not needed and they are a major threat to the world. The same goes for bombs and nukes too.

Remember this frenchy...guns don't save lives...guns kill lives.
C'mon. Are you going to continue to bang that tired old drum?

Guns aren't going anywhere. An in fact guns do save lives, that is an undeniable fact (proven above).

In reality, a ban is nothing more than words on a piece of paper. It is already illegal for convicted criminals to own or possess firearms in the United States. That is a federal law. So there is already a ban. But that ban, like all others, is just wording on a piece of paper. In order for a ban to mean anything, people have to abide by the law and there has to be sufficient law enforcement resources (and a willingness) to enforce it. So yes, one could pass a complete ban on all private firearms ownership in the U.S. tomorrow. But the only people affected by it would be the people who can currently own firearms legally. The ones who own or possess firearms illegally wouldn't respect a new law any more than they respect the current law. The violent criminals, street gangs and outlaw bikers that illegally possess and use firearms now would keep doing what they're doing. They're criminals. That's what they do.

Bad dogs bite. Passing a law prohibiting that behavior won't make them stop.

Not to mention if you are any of those groups and you are caught with a firearm they pretty much have a no tolerance policy regarding possession and you will go away for a long, long time.

This is true. In the early 90's, Richmond, VA had a real problem with a high murder rate because of drug dealers using firearms. Along with Washington, D.C. (where it was illegal for anyone to possess handguns or even handgun ammunition), Richmond was on the I-95 Cocaine Highway, stretching from Florida to New York. But when they started charging dealers under Federal law if they were caught with a firearms and drugs, the murder rate in Richmond plunged! I think the minimum mandatory sentence was 5 years with no parole, but I don't remember exactly. One newspaper article that I do remember detailed how many drug dealers were using sticks to beat each other up when they had a dispute. Getting caught with a gun was just too painful.

Now, I will grudgingly admit that the open gun show rules in my state and others may be a contributor to the problem of firearms availability among criminals. I don't know how much of a contributor it is, versus strawman sales and the sale of illegally imported firearms by the Italian, Chinese, Russian and Israeli mobs (word is, if you want a new Uzi or a full auto AK, just go to Brighton Beach, NY and be able to speak Russian or Hebrew - if you appear shady, they might kill you, but you can likely find what you're looking for).

But yes, I feel that increased enforcement of existing laws is the most important thing that we could do to lessen this issue. Even with the shooting that took place earlier today in Wisconsin, it is more of a statistical outlier... even though it is a real tragedy. I do not have an answer for tragedies such as this. And a ban? If you have the desire to kill your wife, isn't there already a ban on killing her? How would a ban (words on a piece of paper) on the tool that you're going to use to carry out that crime slow you down? :dunno:

I have no intention of sounding cruel or cavalier about this incident. I just mean to be realistic. I'm very sorry for what happened today. Really.

maybe, you should look at your lack of realism before criticizing him

This is funny

The zolfster doesn't seem to remember asking you for anything

least of all your opinion, which frankly has been proven to be lacking

Well here is one for you, turd: Chicago has the worst murder rate (by firearm) in the entire country, and yet they still have the strictest gun laws in the country.

While true, this can be entirely contributed to gun smuggling from other states that dont have as strict a gun control law.

the guys shooting people are law breaking murdering scum anyway so the zolfster doubts they give a rats ass about breaking a few more laws on the way to murder

how do ya like that you jizz eating limp dick jackoff monkey

since ya wanna resort to name calling

You rebutted nothing. Proved nothing. My point and post holds true.

I don't need to ask your permission to give my opinion, am I enough clear on that? You are not my superior to lecture me or give me moral lessons especially when you have invalid opinions which are the opinions of a communist and a liar. If you can't handle the heat in this section, then is not for you otherwise get a thicker skin.

Could say the same to you.

The zolfster doesn't need some self righteous closet nazi with a superiority complex telling him where to go and what to do.

Just know that if you are gonna dip your head in the Zolfster's business, then you can expect a fiery response in kind

And you can take that to the bank Adolph.

Alright fine but I just think it's weird for people to own a gun and keep it in their house. Guns sales and what have you...Georges is starting to be on my enimies list...I just can't stand how he thinks. It's just a one way tunnel vision for him.

Guns are tools they don't think, they don't hate, and they don't make decisions. I have this huge problem with reactionaries constantly trying to make rules and regulations to try and stop criminals and idiots and in the end they only punish the law abiding citizens. If the world would pull their heads out of their collective asses and quit filling the prison system with drug addicts and fill them withe the scourge that belong there, and KEEP THEM THERE, it might be a little better place to live.
