I believe that dog won the "World's Ugliest Dog" contest two or three years in a row. It died shortly after winning its last title. may not have been a pretty dog, but the owners seemed to take great care of it. OK, maybe not a funny post, but I always thought it was cool the family loved the dog despite being so damn ugly.
