What song was #1 on the Music Billboard when you were born?

#1 Billboard song on the day I was born: Barbra Streisand & Neil Diamond - "You Don't Bring Me Flowers"

Biggest hit single of the year: Bee Gees - "Stayin' Alive"

Best selling single of the year: Bee Gees - "Night Fever"

...I think I win for having the most embarrassment.

Journey formed the year I was born. I'll take that over the song that was #1 the day I was born.

Now I don't feel so old so I will post.
The Battle Of New Orleans. Johnny Horton. Lasted 6 weeks.

I wish that I had a cooler song but it is what it is.

As a kid, that was one of my favorite songs.

It could be (much) worse: I got This Diamond Ring by Gary Lewis & the Playboys. :pukey: There was clearly a lot of great music in the 60's. But as with any period, Top 40 tends to be all about the always crappy, pop music scene.

Bob Seger - Shakedown
