What recently made you genuinely happy?

With some serious topics going on. Let us discuss some positive notes. No matter how small or big.

Going to a store to buy a specific item, and finding it on sale.
Just happened today.

Went for giant food mountain then we went back for a few bong hits and went for gelato. It doesn't take much to make me happy.

One of my youngest cats, who didn't have a great journey to my home (bought for me and brought in a massive cat cage with a giant cushion inside) fairly recently started being pleased to see me, headbutts and happy to be petted.

It's a simple thing, but it makes me smile.

Spending time with ****** today that I haven't seen in many years.

The Belmount Stakes yesterdaay. It was my birfday. I was invited to get a ride. ****** it up. History can happen without me.

Today I started blasting big band music at 8 AM. Go ahead and complain. Count Basie and Jimmy Dorsey screaming out my windows.

I'm doing my fucking laundry. Don't fuck with me while Jimmy Dorsey is playing. I will Moe the **** out of you.

Music makes me happy. There are also people who make me happy, but I know I can't always rely on people to achieve happiness. So I just play some music I really enjoy (not always happy music).

Playing guitar also makes me happy. And I enjoy many other things, such as walking through the woods, drawing, musical theory, talking and being with people I love, and honey. They instantly raise my morale up.

We enjoy many of the same things besides people. I don't like people.

While the story itself is heart-wrenching, it makes me happy seeing total strangers sharing their sympathies and genuine compassion for the poor ***.
