I remember my mom listening to a lot of Anne Murray, Rita McNeal, Gordon Lightfoot, Lionel Richie, Marvin Gaye and she was a big country music junkie. I prefer underground hip hop, hardcore rap, funk music. It would be interesting to see what kinds of music my future kids will be into if I ever have any.

I don't know about my father, he left when I was very young. My mother, and Aunts/Uncle were all older, they listened to Big Band, Swing, and some Jazz. A lot of it was on old 78rpm records, which I still have.

When mom wasn't listening to the CBS Radio Mystery Theater she had an Italian opera blaring in the kitchen. I stayed for the mystery show and bailed if she turned on the opera.
