The exception seems to be the women who want a nice guy, at least it seems that way. I know tons of girls who are sweet, honest and nice and hell, even THEY go for the douchebags.

I've worked in a bar here in the UK for the last two years, and I'd say...at least three out of four times, if a gal's in with a guy and she's either: a) smoking hot b) really cute (you know what I mean by the distinction) or c) actually nice to talk to then the fella's she's with is a dick. Time and time again, my experience has shown that women simply respond to dickhead behavior far more than charm, humor, or 'niceness' or any of the other qualities those same women are likely complaining about not being able to find.

A phrase that comes to mind: Women want the nice guy, they just aren't looking for him.

But that said...

Just be yourself and continue doing what you're doing. You will attract a gal that is into the same things as you are and hit it off. As for the opposites attract thing, don't go by that, you want to get with a girl that has your same interests and enjoyment as you do but still has a little bit of difference where you two are able to partake in and not always be around each other and remain fresh each day.

...there's always exceptions, and enough of them that even being a nice, good-looking, charming and funny guy, you can still find some beautiful women worth your time.

Women are so freaking picky, like we men are worthless or something. I mean, if the lady wants to stay home and not work she can do that, if she wants to go out and work, she can do that, but us men HAVE to get our asses to work, pay the bills, provide them a home, in some cases even a maid so they can go to the salon or the spa, etc., etc., etc.

Nowadays, ladies can provide for themselves so financially they don't need us men and they're only with us when they feel like it. But it's not only me, I got some relatives and friends who are single and (except for me) are rather attractive guys, we all have a good job, no ****, sometimes a nice house or a nice apartment, no baggage, yet none of us can find someone to settle down because ladies seem to have some extremely high expectations.

Case in point, I remember one time a friend of my *** wanted me to meet her daugther, of course, she told her daugther "oh, that [Spyder], he's such a good looking man, hard working, smart, he has a good job, a nice house, you should meet him". I did get her phone number and we talked on the phone several times, but I believe that when her *** told her that, probably the only thing she heard was "blah, blah, blah, such a good looking man, blah, blah, blah", so she was more than likely expecting to meet a clone of Brad Pitt but when she met me....yup, that's the last time I ever saw her, even though on the phone we seemed to get along pretty well, and that's not the only time it's happened. And even my good looking friends and relatives have struggled with women, like they're not good enough.
