I have an I-Pod shuffle which is the bare bones just music one.I love it ,was cheap, very simple to use and seems bulletproof in the 2 years I have had it.I used to have a pricier Creative labs one but it died after about a year.

Best I-pods ever. I mainly got it for when I'm on the motorbike, which is a fair bit. Takes no room up in your pocket or you can hang my version round your neck. I don't need a display as I uploaded the songs to it and know what's on it and what's next. It's just what I like simple with no fuss. Does exactly what you want it to do without trying to be fancy. Which usually is what makes it go wrong. Hence why in the 3 years I've had it I've never had a problem with it.

I actually have a thing by RCA called a "Pearl"- not huge or complicated, but simple and nice, and it holds a ton of songs so that while I'm running, I have quite the selection.
