In today's society there are many things which are becoming everyday occurrences which would have been unheard of as recently as 10 years ago.
::looks at your age:: 27, eh.. so you were 17 when you started to finally take notice of things around you? ::laughs::
Well.. where to begin? History books are a good choice. A few short sayings can explain a whole lot.
History repeats. (good bad good bad, you cant have the good without the bad and history? It's not a straight line.. there are periods of economic growth, warless years.. etc etc. And then there are depressions, suicide bombers and idiot presidents. Explain those if you want. The path of history has many twists and turns.)
Repression doesnt work, it creates a 'black market' of sorts to whatever it prohibits. In america we openly opress all those things that the moral majority tell us to. And then.. we go home and reality sets in. We browse the porn sites, we ***** the ******, we say things considered bad to blow off steam and we watch TV for the opposite outcomes. They watch racing for the crashes... we watch the news for the shock value..(No, not the everyday *******.. but who flashed their pussy today? Who died? Black guy or a chick for the president?) Repression ultimately stresses the populace.
The customer is always right. No, they're fucking not. They never are, they never were.. they know it and we know it but they demand absolute respect.. quick service.. and they wanted it ten minutes ago! The corporate machine tells you what you want, what you deserve.. and it's all a big lie that makes jobs unpleasant and unrealistic for everybody.. at every level. The customer is constantly getting fucked over. Price, quality, service, and they refuse to give into the reality of it all. I have a few pieces of advice for those who complain.. coming up next.
Dont shoot the messenger. Ever.
Dont fuck with any of the following:
The quartermaster. (Anyone who gives you the items you need.. cashiers come to mind!)
The medic. (You want someone to save you? Be friggin' nice about it. Do not.. under any circumstances.. complain about or to.. your doctor RIGHT before he operates on you.)
The food. (I'm sorry, you wanted it medium rare instead of medium? What? What's wrong with me? Why did I do what? No I didnt cook it.. I'm only the ... okay.. sorry.. no I'm not talking back. Yes, you can speak to the manager. I'll go fix your food. I'm sorry, ma'am.) Yeah.

Other than that, I dont see much of anything truly wrong happening. People are responding to increased stress and fast-paced lives. Some people see a shrink, some people take a machete to a school bus full of ****. Stop looking at the disease and look at a cure. Slow life back down, cater to the true needs of the individual and help them find a place in society.. the hunter-gatherer stage of humanity is over and people are honestly lost now more than ever. But that's just now.. in ten, twenty, a hundred years from now the situation will be even more different and the response of some skewed psyche will be worse, I'm sure. But who knows, who can worry? Who has the *****? Seriously.. who took my friggin' *****? ::walks away::
