What is the official history of FreeOnes, when did it start, changes, etc

As per the title, is the history of FreeOnes written down anywhere? The board has been around a long time (in internet years) and clearly has staying power. It would be nice to record how and when it began, major changes (e.g. introduction of rep, changed to rep rules...), who first hit 100K posts, when the board broke (e.g. the current posting timeout problems), etc. Maybe this thread full of posts with random recollections is all that's ever going to be so post away. I view FreeOnes in two ways, BD and AD, before DrakeM and after DrakeM, the inflection point being June 2011 when Google pointed me at the In-the-Crack thread.

Seems to me that when Freeones had a milestone anniversary a few years back, there was something explaining its origins and why the white, blue, and orange color scheme, and highlighting a few significant events long the way

As implied by the name the web site started as listing of free sample sets indexed by the star's names. I think it started around 2004, I didn't get involved with the forum until 2007. Somewhere along the way I recall Kristal Summers was the first OCSM who wasn't the most tech savvy and promptly lost her password (per her posting in her thread

For me, I used to use FreeOnes as a place to join paysites. I also was helping Rory with wiki information on babes way back in 2005. He was the webmaster before Petra. I eventually joined in November 2010. By that time, he was long gone. I also remember FreeOnes_Willem. He used to put new babes up.

So here's an in the nutshell rundown on the FreeOnes history:

- FreeOnes started in 1998 as a centerfold site with I think 21 pages and was an instant hit.
- 2004 FreeOnes announced the 6,000th babe added to the site
- 2005 FreeOnes added the paysite review section and had 500 reviews completed by Jan 2006
- Board started in 2006.
- May 2006 7500 models added to FreeOnes
- July 2007 I started at FreeOnes (time flies!) and we stopped adding links to babe sections individually (YAY!!)
- Aug 2007 we welcomed the 9,000th babe
- Early 2008 made auto posts show up on board for new paysite reviews
- April 2008 we welcomed our 10,000th babe
- June 2008 we implemented the search you see up in the header of the main website today
- Sept 2008 we added a warning system to links on the site so you know if you'll get extra charges or not (cross sales)
- Sometime in 2009 we made new babes auto post to the board
- Feb 2009 the babe wiki was launched
- July 2009 FreeOnes added the 300,000th link as well as the top 100 babe rank section
- Nov 2009 the first miss freeones was announced (the downfall of my sanity)
- Fall 2009 we launched the current layout of FreeOnes including new logo
- Sometime in 2009 Regina and William was added to the team
- Sometime in 2010 we added the possibility for users to buy freeones credits
- Jan 5th 2010 the 1st Miss FreeOnes started
- April 2010 Bree Olson won the 1st Miss FreeOnes
- Sept 2010 announcement of 2nd Miss FreeOnes (and more sanity gone)
- Sometime in 2011 we added the OCSM page to FreeOnes
- Jan 2011 Sophie Dee wins 2nd MissFO
- June 2011 .5 million links on freeones
- Aug 2011 20,000th babe added to site + suggestion form to adding new babes to freeones
- Nov 2011 500 OCSMs verified and the gay/shemale sections are added to the board
- Dec 2011 the 3rd Miss freeOnes contest was announced
- Late 2011 William quit
- May 2012 Vicky Vette wins Miss FreeOnes

I don't have the exact dates, but before I started myFreeOnes and the shop already existed.

I'm sure there is plenty I'm missing but going through my notes, this is what I was able to come up with as far as milestones. Board wise, we've had a lot of controversy and characters over the years like BaconSalt and JSmoothpa.

How about adding things like individual milestones and other stuff, e.g. people who joined the 100K post club and when. Looking at the Members Only section, I found:

How about more stuff:
- when could you first "friend" someone, "ignore" someone, change your "saying"...
- first blogs, rep
- first babe added (likely lost to time)
- first non-mod to join, first user banned, oldest active user (who's logged in this year)
- etc.
