Went to go see Kong: Skull Island today at the Century City AMC in IMAX 3D. Real fun movie nicely filmed with great effects. If you go make sure to stay until after the credits end for an extra scene.

Ah shit, went to see Kong this weekend too, didn't know there were after credits, left too early then!

The bane of the cinema goer, sitting there at the end of the movie not knowing if there is an extra scene while seemingly everyone else walks out - Am l the smart one or the dumb fucker who is just gonna waste at least 5min of his/her life?

After the end of the movie, they should write in big letters EXTRA SCENE AFTER CREDITS !!!
They probably don't do it so people pay to watch it again just to see the extra scene.
Or you can watch it on youtube soon.

Three films of note for this entry
"King Kong" (1933) a classic , one of Cinema's greatest films and one of the scariest in Black and White

"King Kong" (2005) Directed by Lord of the Rings director Peter Jackson , if I have one grip it is that the voyage to Skull Island seemed to take forever but the cast did well in it Jack Black Naoimi Watts etc.
Kong's Fight with the 3 V-Rexes intense which has you go "You show them Big Guy"
Kong's standoff with the planes and his fall from the Empire State Building superb as welll as challeging the thought "Going to burst into tears"

Now "Kong Skull Island" 2017 Ignored the critics and thank God I did because I would have missed the film of the year so far.
And yes , it is one of those films you must wait for the end credits to finish and for the epic scene at the end where the Great Link to more Cinematic Behemoths is revealed .
I was tipped off about it too. Most of the crowd had left except for ten who stayed behind
Going to see it again . The last scene is on Youtube . I think nearly everyone knows about it now.

For the films due on in the Monsterverse , I expect plenty conflict and battles worthy of the Great Antagonists themselves and their traditions.
Battle With Honour a War for the Ages

Nothing like kicking back with some beers and enjoying a film from Toetag Pictures. Watched the enchanting first installment of August Underground last night. I was so captivated and drawn in I found myself yelling at the TV trying to give the stars of the film advice about abduction, torture, dismemberment, body disposal, and how not to let that filthy cunt get away.
