What is the latest good film you watched ?

Harley Quinn movie. (Good action. Margot did alright. The 'birds of prey' barely figured into it, and for all Ewan's acting and scene stealing, the script didnt give him a lot to work with.)
Next up: Dark Crimes 2016 Jim Carrey vehicle. OH SHIT that reminds me, I watched sonic the hedgehog. Which made me want to get another Carrey flick, so.. here I went, and I'm expecting something decent.
In the same vein of one hour photo with Robin Williams, I rather like comedians doing horror/thriller flicks.

The best German film I've seen since "Das Boot" and "Downfall".
This is proof you can have great Non-WWII German films, AND that German comedies do exist!!
The entire movie takes place over a family dinner party, where an expectant father announces that he's naming his son Adolf. No Neo-Nazi material or anything really controversial. Just very witty and hilarious banter. I watched with subtitles, but it doesn't take away from the comedy.
There is even an awesome scene where one character goes on an endless, but structured and poignant rant. I don't know if that was one take, but it was a sight to watch!

Funny thing, whenever I finish a movie, I go to IMDB to read any trivia & goofs. I did that for "What about Adolf", and the first movie under the recommendations was "Look who's back". I love the premise, so for sure, I will try to look for it!

I have not watched the first.
I thought Knives Out was very entertaining. Often I find casting like this has, maybe, more vanity attached for the actors? But it seemed they had fun. And Ana De Armas is just so damn cute!
