Much, much better than I thought. Very depressing and somewhat shallow view of humanity. Vera Farmiga steals the movie. Wow, do I want to do some *~naughty~* things to her :bowdown: Her beauty comes through the camera so strong...what an actor she is. She should be handed the Oscar right now.

Just got back from seeing Avatar 3D
Story was much better than I thought and the visuals...fucking spectacular! And that's an understatement!!!! By far the best visual experience I've ever had watching a movie! It is just crazy how much of the movies world comes to life. Just like looking out the window. There is depth to absolutely everything!

I saw 2 really good movies today.
1. Sherlock Holmes, I thought this movie was a lot of fun. Robert Downey Jr. makes a great Sherlock. :thumbsup:
2. Brothers, Not an uplifting movie but I thought Tobey Maguire, Jake Gylenhaal, and Natatie Portman were all terrffic in it. It's a very sad story.

I saw Shurlock Holmes today(well technically yesterday) as well.I really enjoyed it and thought that it was one of the best movies to come out this year.I'm really glad to see that Guy Ritchie can do more than just British gangster films.
Also just finished watching Lucky # Slevin.I don't think that a whole lot of people saw this flick,but they should because it's really good.I only saw it once before and that was quite some time ago,and I really forgot just how good this movie really was.

I bought that movie (Lucky # Slevin) the day it came out on DVD! That's one of my favorite movies and I've watched about 17 times!

I saw Avatar this past Saturday. I must say that it was the most visually stunning movie I have ever seen. The motion capture for the Na'vi... the facial expressions and body language, if I didn't know any better I would swear that they were real. :eek:
The story I have seen before in movies like Dances with Wolves, but it's told extremely well on a enormous canvas. Zoe Saldana looks as beautiful as a 15ft tall blue alien as she does in real life. :bowdown:
