All of the previous Friday the 13th/Jason films have no continuity issues since this new one is essentially a reboot of the series.

from the preview, it seemed that it was kind of a remake, kind of new. I remember one of the characters mentioning that Jason's mom was behind the original killings. . . I still haven't decided which movie to see!
