Watched The Wild Bunch (1969) a couple of nights ago. It's like a Who's Who of iconic Hollywood legends and some of the greatest character actors of all time: William Holden, Robert Ryan, Warren Oates, Ernest Borgnine, Strother Martin, L.Q. Jones, et al.
I knew/read that it was one of the greatest westerns of all time, but I'd never seen it before. It's got nothing to do with Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid (which was released the same year), but it has a similar feel to it... with a little Magnificent Seven thrown in. Hell of a western/buddy movie, with great action.
