Blade Runner 30th Anniversary Collector's Edition on blu-ray.
I watched the 1982 theatrical version which is my favorite. It's the one where Deckard narrates like a 1930's gumshoe and there's no insinuation that he himself is a replicant.
The pre-CGI special effects (all miniatures and matte paintings) still hold up well, but it's that soundtrack - it's just haunting. One of my favorite things about the film.
Sean Young, as well as the rest were perfectly cast. This was just a confluence of greatness and hence the masterpiece that it is.
And who knew so many people (and non-people) would still be smoking cigarettes in the future (2019)?
Deckard: You're reading a magazine. You come across a fullpage nude photo of a girl.
Rachael: Is this testing whether I'm a replicant or a lesbian, Mr. Deckard?
