:D I'm with you, my favourite Grimble Tide sounds, are the midnight chimes at new Year.

The best Christmas album ever made is Amy Grant’s Home for Christmas:

My favorite cut on the album? There are a handful of GREAT ones … but “Most Wonderful Time of the Year” is probably the best. I even like it better than the Andy Williams version which is rare … I almost always like the original the best.

Another classic that no collection should be without is the album from the Peanuts special:

Joni Mitchell - River

Don't know if it's really a Christmas song (at where I used to work they played it all year long, but it starts of "It's coming on Christmas, they're cutting down trees. They're putting up reindeer and singing songs of joy and peace.")

The first time I ever heard the song was Michelle Branch did it live. I never heard a song that made me feel so depressed.

In a bell tower, watching you through cross hairs.
Father Christmas, by The Kinks, and Christmas Time Is Here, from The Peanuts, by Vince Guaraldi. Theres also an instrumental of a famous classic by The Ventures, I can't remember the name of it though.
