To celibrate the "Great American Melting Pot" you should have a glass of everything (not mixed together or anything). I don't mean slam 'em, ***** at a leisurely pace. What a tribute to the American Experience that would be. Eat nothing but soda crackers to keep it all down.
At the cookout tomorrow, there will be more than a few mason jars (hidden) under the bar. Some of our cop friends will be there too, I'm sure. And they'll be ******** it just like the rest of us.
courvoisier XO is kinda the standard cognac for noobs, and a bit dry i think. camus VSOP is cheaperand tastes pretty much the same. the best one i've had so far is a hardy's XO (grren label), i swear it's like ******** caramel, although one of my ************ refers to it as gasoline.
you could go to a nice hotel/restaurant and order a glass of louis XXIII, but that's at least 200 bucks... i've never done that, but one day i wanna, just to say that i drank the best. it probably doesn't taste all that differently, but whatever.
