what game are you playing right now?

Well, my assault in XCOM didn't go well. I don't know if I'm going to start over or finally go play Horizon Zero Dawn that I bought for the PS4 a couple months ago and is still in it's shrink wrap. :1orglaugh

Got a new NES Game Genie. Not to cheat, but to have some fun creating new codes.

I keep going back to Battlefield 1. I've tried several other games since I started, but it's just so satisfying to me.

I picked up Motorsport Manager for cheap off of Steam's summer sale. It's not too bad, although it can be quite the grind if you choose to start out with a new team at the bottom and try and work your way up. It's not going to happen in the first couple years that for sure.

I do find it kind of funny how unlike other sport games actively choosing to cheat the rules of the competition is a mechanic they built into the game. Although I guess you could argue that probably does simulate real life. :1orglaugh

Bloodborne (PS4)

I've never played any of the Souls games because I don't usually enjoy frustration with my gaming experience. In any event, I found myself between games and it was on sale for $7.99 this past week and I figured I'd give it a shot. I am enjoying it.

West of Loathing

Admittedly this game isn't a challenge to anybody that can do even a minor amount of min-maxing or thinks about optimizing the games mechanics even a little. The game can be very easy to break that way. Then again I don't think it's made to me challenging. It's also not super long, but it's not what I would consider short either.

All of that is more than made up by the writing and humor being very well done, which I think is the main purpose to go it. It's also relatively cheap at ten bucks, so I'm glad I got it. The only issue I have is there is a lot you can potentially miss and not be able to get back some things depending on your decisions, and it's not always easy to tell it's going to happen when you do it.

I haven't played Stellaris with any of the newer patches or dlc. I'm thinking I will give building a few new empires a shot, with maybe one of them being a hivemind or robotic one.
