Did you just become describe "PlayStation 3" from Sony?

Yup. It's my primary 'computer' now. My last PC died around jesusmas/dec 24th.

Sooo... it's useful in many, many ways. And upscales whatever video files I throw at it, too! Yay for alternative methods to viewing the porn I burnt to DVD's in years past... no yay for my complete lack of PC gaming... I can browse newgrounds, youtube, most places... but I cant really save anything for later playback with any real ease. A shame this thing doesnt have the SD/MMC/MS:ProDuo slot.. then I'd have a valid alternative to a dvd burner. AKA.. what I mostly did on my PC.

Similar post by myself in 2006 November ...

I made a very similar post back in 2006 November, because a lot of members have gaming platforms that are PC as well as non-PC and I already noted one person described a PS3 here.

What gaming generations/platforms do you have?

SimplexDesign

if you spend most of your time using a computer you end up like this.

3 pc's actually 2 the last one doesn't count think it will blow up if i turn it on. Nothing special you gotta see the stuff some class mates have.

2 laptops yeah i could have thrown this one away but i rather keep using it.

You name it, I've probably got it somewhere. I used to work at as a hardware tech and have loads of spare parts. In fact, I have a 500 square foot shed just filled with old computers and computer parts.

Wow! Shayd, are you joking? How many machines have you got through? Is this a hobby or an obsession. Or are you a thief?

Unfortunately for my wife, no I'm not joking (she wants to convert the shed into a guest house). If I were to guess how many working machines I have, I'd peg it somewhere around 50, but there are only about 10 actually hooked up. They range from an old Apple II that I keep for nostalgia, to the one I just built for my nephew (Intel i7, GeForce 8800, couple of nice perks for him).

But to answer your question, I've worked with computers as a hobby since I was in high school, but I've worked commercially with them for about the past 15 years.

Oh, I thought everyone just had 1 computer. Like most people have just 1 wife. And I have to say, Shayd, I agree with yours on this occasion. Conversion seems more attractive than having all that stuff making the place look untidy!:crash:
