The Postal Service and Death Cab for Cutie.
Remember we PM'd not long ago and I told you I missed them when they were in my city. They aren't bad.
The Smiths I just found out about. They're alright.
Yeah I remember , hopefully they will play one of the festivals Im off to this summer , the Smiths are great I wasnt really into them years ago , I just liked a few of there songs but I have started to like there music more in the last few years and listen to them quite a lot now :glugglug:
Not your FAVORITE but who you might have recently discovered or got turned on to!
Heres mine, Muse....Great Band!
Good choice Automate, BUT, it's Maynard James Keenan. Yes he's the singer in Tool (will see them for the 6th time in June, will be my 8th time for Maynard) Do yourself a favor check out A Perfect Circle & Puscifer. A bitdifferent from Tool, but still GREATNESS!!!!!!
You're absolutely right. I didn't remember it correctly. It's just that I've always thought of the name "Maynard" as a sobriquet (as it indeed is, he acquired that during his time in the army).
Oh, I already know about APC. They are really magnificient as well, especially the song Judith. In particular, I love how the guitar sounds in that song. :banger:
I've heard some from Puscifer as well, but so far I'm not too much into it. I have also heard some from Ashes Divide (APC founder and lead guitarist Billy Howerdel's own solo project) but I'm mostly neutral towards them as well. Tool and APC are really the hardest hitters for me. :banger:
:banger:Forget that. Perfect Circle's debut is dope. It does have a raw, gritty and crisp sound - the whole album. Get that. :hatsoff:
