Deadwood: Season 1:

Kudos to all of the actors, writers and producers of this HBO series. But special kudos are in order for the following:
Brad Dourif as Doc Cochran
William Sanderson as E.B. Farnum
Robin Weigert as Calamity Jane
Keith Carradine as Wild Bill Hickock
But a special ATTABOY goes out to:
Ian McShane as Al Swearengen--you know a villain has done his part, when he makes you hate him as well as laugh at him.

Deadwood one of my all time favourite shows. Ian McShane kicks ass, I hope they do all come back for the 'planned' 3 TV movies to finish off the series.

I think the series only went three seasons. A guy on another board recommended it to me. I did a little historical research and found a lot of inaccuracies, but also some right-on facts in the show.

Well, I'm sat here surfing the internet while on my tv is a show called Totally Viral.

I think the series only went three seasons. A guy on another board recommended it to me. I did a little historical research and found a lot of inaccuracies, but also some right-on facts in the show.

But there were planned TV movies to tie up the story because the end of season 3 didnt really end, it was getting ready for season 4 but HBO cancelled the sctors contracts. I doubt it will happen know because I doubt they could get all the cast back together, even though I would love it if they did, because stories need an end not just stopping 3/4's of the way through.
