What are you listening to right now?

Had this stuck in my head all day. Listening to the whole thing (including that coda) and actually reading the lyrics again and again made me appreciate this song just a bit more, though I'm still not a fan of Marvin's smooth soul sound.

By and large this dude and his band can make some really difficult things to listen to, but this clicked with me right on the first listen. It just sounds so right. Actually, pretty much the whole album is growing on me.

Don Van Vliet was good friends with Frank Zappa for a very long time. The Magic Band's 1969 album Trout Mask Replica was produced by Frank.
