I used to listen to and think highly of Muse until I found out they have a song on the new fucking "Twilight" Soundtrack :mad: Goddamn losers...what the hell were they thinking??

A serious band would not sellout like that...:nono:

I've never been much of a fan either way, not that I have a problem with them.
But, respectfully, I don't really buy into that whole "sellout" thing. Yes, Twilight is the annoying flavor of the month/year (again I'm no fan), but I'm sure just about any band with a brain between them, if offered the money they were probably offered, would do it.
Considering how much money bands lose in record sales due to free downloading, they are kinda forced to "whore" theirselves, for lack of a better word. Aside concert ticket sales, that's one of the only other things that can keep them going without having to get day jobs. Here, they get money, not just from the soundtrack, but also if the song appears in the movie itself. Then more when it's put on DVD.

as demonstrated by Tool's song, Hooker With A Penis. he basically says "yeah i might have sold out but i sold out from the start and you bought my album so fuck you". the aforementioned hooker is theorized to be Fred Durst.
