today i was on cliphunter .com and i clicked a link and a page came up that said "your ip address and isp has been recorded and if you repeat to try to gain access to this address it will be turned over to the proper athorities"! I HAVE NEVER tried to access illegal porn and NEVER WILL! what does that message mean? im i in trouble? It never put me on the site so i didnt see anything (Thank God)! im never going their again!

Probably just some hoax to scare you. I have a hard time believing that anyone would track down your IP just because you're surfing for a little porn. Most likely they just mean that they're saving your IP to prevent you from trying over and over again to access protected sites, and they just exaggerated a little.
If you want to feel completely safe when surfing around and make sure no one just intrudes your computer, get NoScript. It's a bit roundabout in the beginning but well worth it in my opinion. I've been using it ever since I found out about the numerous keyloggers here and there

but are you saying that that message means nothing or is that how they do it if its an illegal link! wouldnt they take the link down instead of leaving it up with a warning? the girl looked exactly like eve lawrence!

so the link was to "mikehawkmovies.com" and there was no where to report this on the host site!

Best one I have seen has been a flash box that makes it look like it's scanning your directories. Says crap like scan your C drive and then lists what operating system etc etc. You'll panic and hit the exit button. BINGO!! Thy've got your click. Have a second look.
They set it up as generic and their best guess ie you'll be on a windows based system, probably Vista. They'll guess you have a Pentium, and using Windows IE and have a C drive labeled C: and a DVD;ROM on D:
