He is probably "asexual", meaning that he isn't sexually attracted to others or doesn't have interest in sexual intercourse. I know people like him, but I don't have that much trouble in getting them to speak about girls. If he truly is asexual, he might be straight or gay or whatever. It's hard to tell what his sexual orientation is.
But he might be gay and too scared to come out of the closet.
