Well its good someone in a reputed field has said this.....Been saying it for ages, Its fucking obvious and clear as day....You'd have to be a complete moron to not realise this, After all in simple biology experiments as in biology 101 they discovered that something starts to thrive and multiplies to such a extent it starts shitting in its own habitat......Then boom bust poisoned and all die. Here's the thing. If and when we do this, its going to be with the best of the best humanity has to offer. Its not like we're gonna be sending a bunch of child molesting war mongers. It will be the most intelligent stable people alive. And it has to be done. We're on the cusp of a medical breakthrough that will inevitably increase the human lifespan, and this planet already has more than twice as many inhabitants than it can sustain. :2 cents:

The ironic thing is that him above nearly all people should know how daunting the physics problems are going to be to overcome if we ever try anything like that. There are a good number of physicist that even question if it will ever be possible to have practical interstellar travel. Science always marches on and maybe someday it will occur, but it’s not a good plan for solving our problems.
